Comments from the Imaging Staff
Obviously any order for slide output gets sent to the
Agfa Alto digital film camera. Any digital image from
Photoshop must be at least 200 dpi at the final printed
dimensions, otherwise a jagged or blurry image will result.
These images must be rendered in RGB mode for color fidelity;
color-separated (CMYK) images will result in off-color
printing. For most slide presentations we strongly recommend
using the Microsoft Powerpoint application to create files
for printing by the Agfa Alto digital film camera. A very
important note to consider when composing slides for output
to the Alto camera, is to allow at least .25" margin around
all sides of the page, because the glass and plastic mounts
will cover the film in this margin when the film is mounted.
Please do not allow text or graphics intended to be viewed
to fall outside of this margin or they will need to be
edited by our staff.
